NEW! Project Template Form

We now have a cool, down-and-dirty new tool which will make posting new projects easier. It's a form which you use to fill in your project information, and it spits out your formatted template post code!

LibriVox Project Template Generator

Select your language (some are still in progress), fill in the information, and submit. Then copy the code that comes up into a new thread, add a subject line, change the post coding to customize it however you want, and you're done!

Or... do it the old-fashioned way:

Please use this template to post a new solo project. See also the FAQ in the New Projects Launch Pad forum.

Copy and paste this into your post, and click "Preview" to see what it looks like and to make changes. Replace all the items in bold as applicable (not just the information in the "temporary paragraph"!!). Leave remaining info for the MC to edit. Please make sure you include all information required in the temporary paragraph.

IMPORTANT - soloist, please note: in order to limit the number of languishing projects (and hence the number of files on our hard-pressed server), we ask that you post an update at least once a month in your project thread, even if you haven't managed to record anything. If we don't hear from you for three months, your project may be opened up to a group project if a Book Coordinator is found. Files you have completed will be used in this project. If you haven't recorded anything yet, your project will be removed from the forum (contact any admin to see if it can be re-instated).
